A Stoker ponders the convoluted relationship between human progress and sanity at the ruins of a technological relic. As their mind teeters on the edge, a chaotic discovery seems to emerge.

Steam Lament traces the notions of sanity and power dynamics and their connection to emotional displacement and linear progress through the eyes of a Stoker - a human/machine, a liminal backstage character, and a steerer of events.

On the backdrop of an unfolding moment of extreme fragility, the work reflects on the paradox of endings as new beginnings through vivid imagery and intense emotion, taping into a haunting meditation on the limits of human endeavor and the inevitability of collapse.
